Upload a Satisfactory Singleplayer Save to Your Server

Satisfactory·May 20, 2026·9 min read

Overview

Starting fresh on a Satisfactory server is not always ideal, especially when a singleplayer save already has hours of factories, power lines, conveyor spaghetti, and questionable planning decisions behind it. Satisfactory includes tools for uploading a local save to a dedicated server, which lets players continue that same world online.

The process is handled through the in-game Server Manager. You will first upload the save, then load it on the server so it becomes the active world.

Upload the Singleplayer Save

  1. Open Satisfactory from your preferred launcher.
  2. From the main menu, choose Server Manager.
  3. At the top of the Server Manager screen, select Manage Saves.
  4. Choose Upload Save.
  1. Find the singleplayer session you want to use, then select the correct save file.
  2. Press Upload Game to send the save to the server.

Wait for the upload to finish before moving on. Larger worlds can take a little longer, particularly if the factory has grown into something that looks less like engineering and more like modern art.

Load the Uploaded World

Uploading the save only places it on the server. It still needs to be loaded before players can join that world.

  1. Return to Server Manager from the main menu.
  2. Select Manage Saves in the top bar.
  3. Choose Load Save.
  4. Locate the session you uploaded.
  1. Select the uploaded save file.
  2. Press Load Game in the bottom-right corner.

After the server finishes loading the save, join the server normally. The uploaded singleplayer world should now be the active multiplayer world.

Common Problems

The world is not showing on the server

This usually means the save was uploaded but not loaded. Go back to Manage Saves, open Load Save, select the uploaded session, and load the correct save file. Once loaded, the world should be available to anyone joining the server.

The wrong world was loaded

If the incorrect save was selected, return to Load Save and choose the session you actually want to run. Pick the matching save file, then load it on the server. This replaces the currently active world with the selected one.
