Enshrouded Hollow Halls Guide: Unlock Requirements, Locations, and Rewards

Hollow Halls are Enshrouded's cramped, enemy-packed dungeon challenges, introduced with Update #1. They are endgame-style areas where Flameborns fight waves of enemies in tight spaces for unique loot. Bring supplies, because polite dungeon pacing is not the theme.

How to Unlock Hollow Halls

At the time this guide was written, Enshrouded has five Hollow Halls. Four arrived in Update #1, while the fifth was added in Update #4. Four of them require quest progress before entry.

• Springlands Hollow Halls: Complete Growing Stronger Together and Carpentry Assistance to unlock Explore the Hollow Halls from the Alchemist.
• Revelwood Hollow Halls: Activate Ectoplasm Press for the Collector from the Collector.
• Nomad Highlands Hollow Halls: Activate The Nomad Highlands Hollow Halls from the Collector.
• Kindlewastes Hollow Halls: Activate The Kindlewastes Hollow Halls from the Collector.

The Revelwood, Nomad Highlands, and Kindlewastes Hollow Halls also need Bone Keys crafted at the Collector. The Revelwood Bone Key requires 50x Ectoplasm and 20x Bones. The Nomad Highlands Bone Key and Kindlewastes Bone Key each require 100x Ectoplasm Shards and 2x Giant Bones.

The fifth Hollow Hall, located in Albaneve, is different. It has one room, no teleporter at the time this guide was written, and does not require quests or Bone Keys. Some players farming the Albaneve challenge have set up camp nearby to repeat it efficiently for XP and items.

Hollow Hall Rewards and Dungeon Basics

Hollow Halls can be completed solo, but extra players on the same multiplayer server can make the fights easier. Enemies can spawn when marked foes are defeated or when players interact with reanimators. Progress usually involves opening Barrier Doors by finding runes.

Every Hollow Hall Location

Springlands Hollow Halls

The Springlands Hollow Halls are near the lower-left corner of the map, close to the starting area. The entrance sits slightly southwest of the To Mend Old Wounds lore note, if you have found that collectible.

This is the first and most beginner-friendly Hollow Hall, with Level 10 enemies inside. Completing it lets you save Alden Crowley, also known as the Collector, who is required for progressing into the other Hollow Halls.

Revelwood Hollow Halls

The Revelwood Hollow Halls become reachable as you progress farther into Enshrouded. Fast travel to the Revelwood Ancient Spire, then head northwest.

Craft the Revelwood Bone Key at the Collector before entering. Inside, you will face Level 15 enemies and a boss at the end. Clearing every enemy completes the Hollow Hall, but enemies can be respawned for XP and item farming, including Dark Crystal Cluster, Large Dark Crystal, and Sparkling Dark Crystal.

Nomad Highlands Hollow Halls

Travel northwest from the Nomad Highlands Fast-Travel Point to reach this Hollow Hall. You must bring the Nomad Highlands Bone Key to access its hallways.

This mid-to-late-game dungeon contains Level 15 enemies and two bosses. Fortunately, the bosses are in separate areas, so you do not need to fight both at once. Players may repeat this dungeon to farm its unique urns: Bejeweled Golden Urn, Foreboding Golden Urn, and Inscribed Golden Urn.

Kindlewastes Hollow Halls

The Kindlewastes Hollow Halls are among Enshrouded's endgame locations and usually require more preparation. Craft the Kindlewastes Bone Key, fast travel to the Kindlewastes Ancient Spire, then move northeast.

Inside, Level 20 enemies spawn and try to surround you. Like Nomad Highlands, this dungeon includes two Hollow Cyclopes and a Fell Sicklescythe, but here they spawn close together. Beetles and Hollow skeletons also pressure you during the boss fight.

This dungeon can drop the Elite Hollow Set, including Elite Hollow Helmet, Elite Hollow Chest Plate, Elite Hollow Gloves, Elite Hollow Pants, and Elite Hollow Boots. Other unique items include Bound Tome, Mysterious Tome, and Tome of Agony.

Albaneve Summits Hollow Halls

The Albaneve Summits Hollow Halls are far from the Albaneve Summits Ancient Spire. Travel to that fast travel point, then glide and walk far north to reach the dungeon.

Unlike the other Hollow Halls, Albaneve's version is a single-room area rather than a complex dungeon. Players can use the compact layout to respawn enemies for item and XP farming.

Hollow Halls Tips

• Focus dangerous enemies first. Elite Hollow enemies can hit hard or bring in reinforcements.
• Learn attack tells. Cyclopes and other enemies show movements before specific attacks, giving you time to react.
• Avoid Toxic Slime. Standing in harmful puddles quickly drains health.
• Loot after fighting. Clear the room first, then collect items when enemies are no longer surrounding you.
