Minecraft videos already dominate a large corner of gaming YouTube, and Mojang is adding another official show to the pile. The studio revealed The Secrets of Minecraft, a new animated comedy series planned for the official Minecraft YouTube channel.
The reveal arrived with a trailer, giving fans an early look at the tone, hosts, and monthly release plan for the show.
The Secrets of Minecraft is an animated YouTube series built around comedic looks behind the scenes of Minecraft. Rather than acting like a dry developer diary, the show appears to lean into jokes, odd explanations, and the kind of self-aware Minecraft humor that knows exactly how strange this blocky universe can get.
The series features Narrator, previously seen in How We Make Minecraft, alongside M.A.R.I.L.L.A, who appeared in Ten Things You Probably Didn't Know About Minecraft.

The trailer hints that this setup may not be completely stable. The new trailer suggests M.A.R.I.L.L.A may consider replacing Narrator with a different co-host each episode. That sounds rough for Narrator, but excellent for viewers who enjoy workplace tension rendered in Minecraft-adjacent animation.
The show should give Mojang plenty of room to explain odd game details, poke fun at Minecraft logic, and expand on the comedic format used in its previous videos. How serious it gets remains unclear, but the early pitch points toward a light, animated series made for fans who enjoy the game's stranger corners.
The Secrets of Minecraft is set to premiere on Friday, July 30th. Episodes will be available on the official Minecraft YouTube channel.

New episodes are planned to release monthly. That schedule gives Mojang time to polish each video while giving viewers a reason to check back between major Minecraft updates and announcements.
