Yakumo arrived alongside the Sakurajima Update, and the wolf-shaped Neutral Pal quickly became a favorite for both collectors and serious breeders. Its sharp silhouette makes it stand out, but the real reason trainers chase it is the Partner Skill, which is a genuine quality-of-life perk for anyone hunting passives. Below is a complete plan for finding, hatching, and capturing Yakumo without burning half your evening on it.

Yakumo roams the cherry blossom forest in the central area of Sakurajima Island. It appears during the day and at night, so you do not need to time your trip. The catch is that this zone is shared with other aggressive Pals, so a quiet stroll can turn into a three-way brawl quickly. Bring a Pal that can hold aggro or peel adds off while you focus on the target.

Yakumo can technically pop out of a Common Egg, but so can Lamball, Cattiva, Chikipi, and a long list of starter Pals. The odds are not in your favor. If you want a reliable hatch, the Breeding Center is the better path.
Pair any of the following at the breeding station:
Any of these combinations produces a Yakumo egg, which makes farming targeted passive skills much easier than rolling Common Eggs and praying.

The encounter itself is not hard. Any well-leveled party can chew through Yakumo's health bar, but Dark-type attacks are the most efficient choice since Neutral Pals take extra damage from them. Soften it up, throw a sphere with decent capture rate, and the job is done. Just keep an eye on its surroundings, because nearby spawns can ruin the throw if you get greedy.
