Every Pal in Palworld carries a set of quiet talents called Work Suitabilities. Treat them as passive job traits instead of combat moves. They cover everything from chopping logs to lighting up electric pylons, and picking the right Pal for the right station is what separates a smooth base from a chaotic one.

Since the Early Access launch, Palworld has shipped with 12 Work Suitabilities, and the Tides of Terraria update left that number untouched. Here is what each role actually does at your base:
A quick note on Farming: the item a Pal produces inside a Ranch depends on its species, not on a level value.

Most suitabilities use a 1 to 4 scale, with 4 being the most efficient. A Cooling Lv. 4 Pal will keep your fridge running circles around a Cooling Lv. 1 helper, and the gap only grows as your base scales up. Stack the right specialists into each station and you save real time on automation chains.
The lists below cover the strongest options for each task. If a Pal appears in several categories, that usually means it pulls double duty and is worth catching early.
Farming sits apart from the rest. There are no levels, just a fixed output tied to the species. Drop one of these Pals into a Ranch and watch the resource pile build itself:
Keep this list handy when you are deciding who to catch next. A balanced lineup with one or two specialists per station usually beats hoarding a single rare Pal that can only do one job well.
