Palworld V0.6.8: Halloween Event 2025 Full Breakdown

Palworld·October 23, 2025·5 min read

Spooky season has arrived in Palworld. Update V0.6.8 brings the game's first Halloween Event, along with a few quality of life changes that should make the experience smoother for returning players. Here is everything you need to know about the new content, the schedule, and the patch notes.

When the Halloween Event Begins

The Palworld Halloween Event launched on October 23rd, 2025, the same day Pocketpair pushed Update V0.6.8 live across all platforms.

Pocketpair has not confirmed an end date, but if other seasonal events in the genre are any indication, you can expect the festivities to wrap up sometime in early November. Plan your costume hunting accordingly.

Update V0.6.8 Patch Notes

The patch itself is on the lean side, but every change earns its place. Here is the full list of additions and tweaks:

  • A new Halloween Mission has been added. Completing it unlocks Zoe's Halloween costume and a Depresso armor set wearable by players.
  • The "Zoe's Sphere" Mission has been added. This one is repeatable and rewards a Zoe & Grizzbolt pairing.
  • Chat notifications now display messages whenever a player joins or leaves a server.
  • The warning that popped up when world settings were too aggressive for the system has been removed on PS5 and Xbox.

The seasonal mission will most likely vanish when the event wraps up, but the chat update and the warning removal look like permanent additions.

What the Event Adds to the Game

The headline content is the Halloween Mission, which dresses Zoe up for the occasion and gives players access to a Depresso themed armor set. Alongside that, the Zoe's Sphere Mission can be repeated as often as you like, meaning a Grizzbolt squadron is now well within reach. Building an army of identical lightning pals is no longer just a fever dream.

Given how clean the rollout feels, it is reasonable to expect Halloween to become a yearly tradition in Palworld. If you have not logged in for a while, this is a solid excuse to drop back into the islands and try the new content. Returning players might also want to brush up on farming, fishing, work suitability, and predator pals before diving back in.
