The crossover nobody had on their 2025 bingo card is live. Palworld v0.6, officially titled Tides of Terraria, has finally dropped after months of teasers, and it pulls a surprising amount of content straight out of Re-Logic's sandbox. New biome, new Pals, new bosses, and yes, you can hand a sword bigger than your character to a Cattiva.
Pocketpair confirmed the launch through a dedicated trailer, tagging the patch as Version 0.6 and shipping it on June 25, 2025. Rollout covers both PC and console builds at the same time.

The full reveal in motion sits below.
Ahead of release, Pocketpair planted a teasing line in their Steam announcement, telling players they would soon be able to "catch, train, fight, and work monsters from Terraria just like Pals…?" The question mark did a lot of heavy lifting. Now that the patch is out, the picture is finally clear.
The opening teaser follows a Pal trainer wandering through a cavern with Cattiva and Foxparks in tow. Terraria veterans will spot the cue almost immediately: the palette, the crystal formations, and the general atmosphere lean straight into the Hallow biome. Pocketpair did not slap the name on it, but the influence is not exactly subtle.
A follow-up clip on X revealed several creatures exclusive to the region. The roster includes a squid-shaped Pal, a small Ice-type that reads as a tiny dinosaur, a pair of large Grass-type birds, a jellyfish, and an oversized serpent that looks ready to headline as one of the area's Alpha boss fights.
An image in the same Steam post shows the Eye of Cthulhu front and center, and the trailer briefly flashes the Moon Lord during the closing seconds. The roles are split: the Eye of Cthulhu becomes a capturable Pal, while the Moon Lord arrives as a raid boss rather than joining your team.
Pocketpair also shared a short video on the official Palworld X account in which a trainer wades into a crowd of slimes. Those slimes are catchable too, so building a personal slime militia is firmly on the menu. One caveat for completionists: the new Terraria-flavored Pals do not have Paldex entries at launch.
Water-type captures finally have a proper mechanic. As shown in one of the patch screenshots, players can craft rods and baits, then cast them across various spots on the map to hook Water-themed Pals. The same gear also pulls salvage out of the ocean, which gives the system a second purpose beyond filling out your Pal lineup.
That Eye of Cthulhu shot puts an adventurer in the full Hallowed Armor set with the Terra Blade in hand. The blade reappears in the trailer, carried by the same Pal trainer. For the silliest visual of the bunch, another X post shows a Cattiva swinging the Terraprisma like it weighs nothing, which is comfortably one of the most entertaining frames in any Palworld marketing so far.
