Pure Quartz is one of those late-game Palworld materials that quietly bottlenecks half of your endgame to-do list. You need it for Circuit Boards, and Circuit Boards feed into everything from refrigerators to the Jetragon's Missile Launcher. Grab a decent Pickaxe, pack warm clothes, and head north.

The nodes live in Palworld's snow biome, up in the northern stretch of the map. The most reliable concentrations are around:
These zones do not forgive bare arms. Equip cold-resistant armor before you set off, or bring a Fire-type Pal such as Arsox to keep the freezing debuff off your bar. Showing up underdressed is a fast way to feed your respawn timer.

Pure Quartz boulders are easy to confuse with regular Stone nodes at a glance. The giveaway is the shine: Quartz nodes catch the light with a noticeably brighter, glassier surface. If you are not sure, walk right up to it and check the prompt. A few seconds of squinting is cheaper than mining the wrong rock.
Any Pickaxe will work, but harvest speed scales with tier, so do not bring the wooden one if you have already crafted Refined Ingot tools. For hands-free farming, deploy a Ground-type Pal like Digtoise at the node. It will grind the boulder down while you scout the next deposit, which turns a slog into actual production.

The headline recipe is the Circuit Board. You unlock it on the Technology Tree at Level 35, then craft each board with 4x Pure Quartz and 2x Polymer at a Production Assembly Line (or its tier II upgrade).
Circuit Boards are the actual gatekeeper for most of the electric and high-tech catalog. Pure Quartz also shows up directly in several research projects, so a healthy stockpile pays off twice.
Keep a running stack of at least 200 Pure Quartz in your base chest and you will rarely have to interrupt a building binge to fly back to the snow.
