Hunting Predator Pals in Palworld: Spawns, Drops, and Farming Strategy

If you want a serious inventory upgrade or you have your eye on crafting the Meowmere (yes, the Terraria sword sneaked into Palworld), you will need Predator Cores. These only drop from Predator Pals, the angry red-eyed cousins of Alphas. Below is everything worth knowing about them, plus a full list of their spawn coordinates.

What Predator Pals Actually Are

Predator Pals behave like area bosses, similar to Alphas. The catch is that they get no markers on the map, so you have to recognize them by sight rather than icons.

Spotting one is straightforward once you know the tells. Every Predator Pal carries a red aura, glowing red eyes, and a name that starts with the prefix Rampaging. If a Pal in the wild has all three, you found one.

As of writing there are 33 Predator Pals roaming the world, and capture is not an option. Sometimes the boss will not appear right away at its supposed location. Leaving the zone and walking back in usually triggers the spawn, and if that fails, logging out and reloading the save tends to do the trick.

Unlike Alpha Pals, Predator Pals do not reward Ancient Technology Points. Instead, every fight guarantees at least one Predator Core, and higher-level Predators can drop more than one. These cores feed into various crafting recipes, including the pouches that finally let you stop dropping stones every five minutes.

Quick tip: build a base next to a Predator Pal spawn so respawns stay within easy reach. Repeat farming becomes far less painful.
