The Feybreak Update brought a fresh batch of recipes to Palworld, and most of them rely on materials you have never seen before. The Predator Core sits at the top of that list, gating the iconic Meowmere sword (yes, the Terraria one) and a full set of upgraded pouches. Here is the short version of where to find it and what to do with it once you have a few stacked in your chest.

Predator Cores drop from Predator Pals, hostile variants added with Feybreak. They look similar in size to Alpha Pals but carry a few obvious tells: glowing red eyes, an unsettling aura around the body, and a distinct chime that plays when you walk near one, similar to the cue you get for Lucky Pals.
Not every Pal in the game has a Predator version. Right now, only the following species spawn the red-eyed variant somewhere on the map:
These fights are not casual. Bring decent gear, healing items, and ideally a few friends. A coordinated party on a HolyHosting Palworld server will cut your repair bills in half and bring down a Predator Pal before it shreds your best mounts.

Once you start banking cores, the crafting bench opens up. The headline item is the Meowmere, the same rainbow-spraying cat sword Terraria players have been swinging for years. Beyond that, Predator Cores feed into the pouch line, which is the cleanest way to expand your carry capacity.
Recipe breakdown:
A full pouch upgrade path costs 36 Predator Cores plus the sword. If you want both, plan on multiple Predator hunts before retiring the loadout.
