Once Human x Palworld Crossover: Release Date and Deviation Scenario Breakdown

Palworld·September 26, 2025·5 min read

A wave of crossover chaos is heading to Once Human, and Palworld's roster of Pals is along for the ride. The upcoming Deviation: Survive, Capture, Preserve scenario adds new mechanics, new creatures, and a transformation system that lets Meta-humans walk in a Pal's paw prints.

When the Crossover Goes Live

The fresh Deviation scenario actually dropped on September 24, giving players a head start. The official Palworld x Once Human collab, however, lands over a month later on October 30. That gap is intentional. It gives the community time to grind resources, fortify bases, and push characters up the ladder before Cattiva and friends show up in Nalcott.

Which Pals to Expect in Nalcott

The reveal trailer showcased Cattiva, Chillet, and Chillet Ignis, though only Cattiva was shown actually stepping through the portal. The other two will probably tag along, and there is strong speculation that Anubis, Lamball, and even the legendary Jetragon could make appearances. Whether you get to ride a Jetragon across Nalcott or just admire it from the ground remains to be seen.

Turning Into a Pal

One of the more interesting additions is what the developers call an innovative transformation system. Meta-humans can use specific items, most likely Whim-style consumables, to morph into different Pals. This unlocks new abilities and changes how you traverse the map, which is a solid excuse to revisit zones you thought you had memorized.

Take a look at the teaser below for a preview.

The Deviation Scenario at a Glance

Concrete details on the crossover itself are still limited, but the new scenario page outlines what the underlying systems offer.

Players can build squads of up to three Deviations, mixing abilities to form teams with real synergy. Once your party is ready, you can throw them at NPC Deviation battles or jump into real-time PvP against other players running their own builds.

If your lineup feels underpowered, fusion comes into play. Deviations can be merged for stronger results, but the system goes further than that. You can also fuse Deviations with animals and even furniture, which sounds absurd until you remember this is a franchise that already gave us Cattiva. The results are reportedly powerful, occasionally bizarre, and worth experimenting with.
