The Palpagos Islands are about to get louder. Palworld's next major patch teams the survival sandbox with ULTRAKILL, the high-octane FPS known for blood, bullets, and barely controlled chaos. After the earlier Tides of Terraria crossover, this is the second time Palworld pulls in a guest franchise, and the result looks heavier on firepower than anything seen in earlier patches.

According to the official trailer, the patch goes live on December 17, 2025. It is a content-heavy drop that touches combat, building, and base progression, not just a cosmetic skin pack tied to the ULTRAKILL brand.
The headline addition is a fresh weapon set inspired by ULTRAKILL's arsenal. Expect revolvers and shotguns that mirror the source game's punchy feedback. The standout mechanic is the coin toss: throw one into the air, shoot it, and the bullet ricochets toward a target. Handy for tagging Pals tucked behind cover, or for hitting angles that would normally require flanking.
Living up to the patch name, the update lets players paint structures and walls. The palette covers reds, greens, blues, and plenty of shades in between, so two bases on the same coastline no longer have to look identical. It is a small system on paper, but it pushes player builds away from generic wooden boxes and toward something that actually reads as a home.
The trailer ends with a tease: a tall silhouette with two glowing eyes. There is no confirmation yet on whether the encounter is a dungeon boss tied to the ULTRAKILL theme or a fresh raid target. Either way, anyone expecting a casual fight should plan accordingly.
Tucked into the final seconds, the trailer hints at Palworld's full Version 1.0 release sometime in 2026. Home Sweet Home slots into the studio's 2025 roadmap, which already promised multiple collaborations across the year. ULTRAKILL is the second; Terraria was the first.
