Every Fire Pal in Palworld: Stats, Drops, and Work Suitability

Palworld·January 25, 2024·47 min read

Fire-type Pals are the obvious pick when you need an edge over Grass and Ice opponents in Palworld, and they double as your best workforce at the Kindling station. The trade-off is simple: anything water-aligned melts them fast, so plan your encounters accordingly.

The current roster includes 21 Fire-tagged Pals, five of which carry a second element on top of Fire. Below is the full lineup with elemental matchups, partner skills, drops, and base work suitability so you know what each one is actually good for.

How Fire Pals Fit Into the Game

Fire deals extra damage to Grass and Ice. Water turns the matchup around and shreds Fire types, so swap your party before any aquatic encounter. Every Fire Pal in this list also brings Kindling to your base, which means cooking, forging, and refining all benefit when you keep at least one assigned. Kindling levels matter more than raw stat lines when you are trying to push smelting throughput: a single Pal at Kindling Lv. 3 outworks three Pals at Lv. 1, every time.

Dual-element Fire Pals (Fire/Dark, Fire/Ground, Dark/Fire) keep the offensive perks but also inherit a second set of resistances and weaknesses, so check both elements before sending them into a fight.

Building a Practical Fire Roster

A few quick picks if you cannot keep all 21 around. Bushi and Wixen cover the most base jobs per slot, so they earn their keep around the workshop. Reptyro and Blazamut pull double duty as Mining workers, which fixes your ore bottleneck once you reach the mid-game. Ragnahawk, Suzaku, and Faleris give you flight plus combat presence in one slot, useful when your map gets bigger and walking starts to feel slow.

For pure base output, focus on Kindling Lv. 3 carriers (Blazamut, Suzaku, Faleris, Ragnahawk, Blazehowl) and pair them with passive boosters like Rooby or Kelpsea Ignis on the active party. The Kindling worker forges at home while the booster Pal travels with you, so the buff is always paying off somewhere.

One last note: every Pal in this list has a Flame Organ in its loot pool, and a Water weakness right behind it. Pack a Water resistance accessory or a non-Fire backup for any coastal trip and you will save yourself a lot of trips to the respawn point.
