After the hefty Sakurajima Patch left a high bar, the Palworld Feybreak Update arrives with enough new content to keep trainers busy through the holidays. There is a new island to chart, fresh Pals to capture, a tougher raid boss, and a long list of building options. Here is what landed in the December 2024 patch.

The headline addition is the Meowmere from Terraria, now Palworld's first melee weapon that also fires projectiles. It is the opening salvo of a Palworld x Terraria crossover, with more collab content planned through 2025.
The other major newcomer is Feybreak Island, a mysterious landmass dotted with glowing sand, new Pals, and the Feybreak Warriors faction. Whoever owns the missile battery up there is not interested in visitors. Two new resources also show up: Chromite, buried underground and detectable only with the right Pals or tools, and Hexolite Quartz, a rare ore that exists only on Feybreak.
Two systems make their debut. Expeditions let you send Pals out to gather supplies at the Pal Expedition Station, while the Pal Labor Research Laboratory unlocks permanent passives that boost base productivity. Several existing speed-up buildings have been folded into the research tree.
Not all the additions are friendly. Predator Pals now roam the world, hitting harder than anything you have fought before but dropping rare materials when you knock them down. Bounty NPCs appear across the Palpagos Islands as well: dangerous criminals you can hunt for rewards. The level cap is now 60, which you will need against Xenolord, the dark mechanical dragon at the head of the Xeno army.
Trainers who like a coat of paint will find new skins for Royal Frostallion, White Shadowbeak, Gold Relaxaurus, Sailor Quivern, and Summer Chillet, plus six Christmas skins. Unique skills also expanded: Flame Breath and Tempest Blizzard for Vanwyrm variants, Firefist Breathstorm for Astegon, Spirit Dash for Maraith, and more listed below.
