Feybreak Island drops plenty of fresh resources on players, and picking the right plot of land for your base can save hours of fetching trips later. Some spots sit on top of Hexolite Quartz veins, others border Chromite deposits, and one is technically not on the map at all. This breakdown covers four solid picks for setting up shop.

Your Palbox is more than a respawn point. It defines the territory where assigned Pals work, gather, and produce, so dropping it next to the right resource nodes turns a boring grind into passive income. On Feybreak Island specifically, three of the most valuable late-game materials (Hexolite Quartz, Chromite, and Nightstar Sand) all spawn close enough to camp on. Pick well, and you walk away with crafting stockpiles while you focus on bosses or breeding.

Near the base of Feybreak Island's mountainous interior, three Hexolite Quartz nodes cluster together and respawn on a steady timer. The exact location sits slightly northwest of the Warsect Terra Alpha boss arena, which makes it easy to mark on your map.
Hexolite Quartz is one of the headline resources from the Feybreak update. You need it to craft Hexolite, which in turn unlocks endgame gear like the Advanced Bow, Plasma Cannon, and Exotic Sphere. Drop a Palbox here, assign a Pal with the Gathering work trait, and your storage chest will fill itself while you're off doing literally anything else. As a bonus, there's a Crude Oil spawn point right next door.

Head south of the Pinch Alpha boss fight teleport and look for the small lake. The shoreline holds two Hexolite Quartz nodes and a Crude Oil deposit, but the real prize is what your Metal Detector picks up along the water's edge.
Walk the outer perimeter of the lake with the detector equipped and you'll uncover Chromite veins that respawn over time. Combined with the surface resources, this spot delivers three high-value materials within a short jog of your Palbox.
One warning: hostile Pals patrol the area aggressively. Beef up your base defenses early or you'll spend your evenings fending off raids instead of farming. Walls, turrets, and a few combat Pals on guard duty go a long way.

Travel to the easternmost stretch of Feybreak Island and you'll find another two Hexolite Quartz nodes plus a Crude Oil deposit. What sets this place apart is the Nightstar Sand that spawns after sundown along the beach and on the cliff just above it. Fly up to the cliff face for a denser cluster than what shows up on the sand below.
The cove stays unusually peaceful, with almost no hostile Pals roaming nearby, so defense costs stay low. The catch is mobility: getting in and out of the area without a flying mount is a pain, so keep one in your roster before settling here.

This last spot isn't technically on the map. YouTuber DPJ stumbled onto a secret floating island while wandering near the Frostallion Noct Alpha boss teleport, and posted the route for everyone else to follow.
To reach it, head slightly northeast of the teleporter and slip into a small cave. Follow the short tunnel to its exit and you'll emerge into a wide open space. From there, summon a flying Pal and aim for the floating island at the center.
There's nothing to harvest on the island itself, so it's a poor pick if you want passive income. What it offers instead is privacy. No raids, no wandering enemies, no neighbors. It works well as a quiet workshop for breeding projects and crafting sessions when you'd rather not be interrupted.
