How to Catch Fenglope in Palworld: Spawns, Breeding Pairs, and Stats

Palworld·December 20, 2024·18 min read

Fenglope sits comfortably in the top tier of Palworld mounts when it comes to ground speed, and it brings a double jump along for the ride. If you want to spend less time walking across the map, taming one is a solid investment. Below is everything worth knowing about catching, breeding, and fielding this Neutral-type Pal.

Fenglope Spawn Locations

The regular Fenglope appears in two reliable spots:

  • No. 3 Wildlife Sanctuary in the far northeast of the map.
  • The cliffs around the volcanic region in the southwest.

The Sanctuary is the calmer option if you do not want to dodge lava on the way home. Keep in mind that hunting inside a Wildlife Sanctuary carries a wanted-level penalty, so be ready to bolt once you have your capture.

Alpha Fenglope Boss

An Alpha variant lives at Falls Mineshaft, tucked inside the forest biome near the center of the map. Fast-travel to the Ascetic Falls waypoint and head west to reach the entrance. The Alpha hits noticeably harder than wild Fenglopes, so bring stronger spheres and a counter-element Pal.

Breeding a Fenglope

If catching one feels like a chore, the breeding farm offers shortcuts. Any of the following pairs can produce a Fenglope egg:

  • Direhowl + Melpaca
  • Woolipop + Tombat
  • Rooby + Chillet
  • Foxparks + Surfent
  • Direhowl + Eikthyrdeer Terra
  • Sparkit + Surfent
  • Celaray + Gobfin

Common Eggs can also hatch a Fenglope, but the pool of possible Pals from that egg is wide. Treat it as a lucky bonus rather than a real plan.

Defeating and Capturing Fenglope

Fenglope is not a particularly stubborn fight. A trained Dark-type Pal will exploit its Neutral typing without much drama. Reliable picks include Necromus, Pyrin Noct, and Shadowbeak. Soften it up below half health, then start tossing spheres of the appropriate tier for its level.

If you plan to keep it as a mount, prioritize capture quality over kill speed. A higher-IV Fenglope makes a noticeable difference once you start chaining double jumps across canyons.
