Holy Team

Palworld update v0.2.0.6 introduced raid battles, with Bellanoir as the first major boss. This Dark-type raid enemy has a huge health pool, a strict timer, and little patience for underbuilt teams.

Bellanoir is summoned, not found in the wild. First, craft a Bellanoir Slab at a Summoning Altar using:
Bellanoir's Slab Fragments can appear in treasure chests in these dungeons:
The Summoning Altar unlocks at Level 33 in the Technology Tree and costs:
Use the Bellanoir Slab at the altar to begin the raid. You must be at least Level 45 to do this. The raid location depends on where the altar is placed, but it must be inside a base. Building a separate raid base is safer than risking your main headquarters, unless rebuilding storage is your hobby.

Bellanoir cannot be captured during the raid, so ignore Pal Spheres and focus on damage. The raid boss is a Level 30 Dark-type Alpha Pal with 294,000 maximum health.
Dragon-type Pals are the best general answer because Dragon has an advantage over Dark. The fight also starts a 10-minute timer. If Bellanoir is still alive when it reaches zero, the raid fails.
Defeating Bellanoir can drop:
The Huge Dark Egg is how Bellanoir joins your collection, since the boss itself cannot be caught.

Dragon Pals work especially well in this raid. The picks below either boost Dragon damage, bring strong Dragon moves, or help you stay mobile.

Chillet's Partner Skill, Wriggling Weasel, changes the player's damage to Dragon while mounted and significantly increases base attack. It is a strong option if your weapons are ready to contribute real damage.

Quivern's Sky Dragon's Affections boosts Dragon-type damage dealt by both the player and Quivern while mounted. It also has useful attacks such as Acid Rain and Dragon Meteor.

Jormuntide Ignis is Fire/Dragon, but Stormbringer Lava Dragon boosts Fire damage while mounted. For Bellanoir, it is often better to dismount and let it use Dragon Meteor, a 150-power Dragon attack. It can also use Fire Ball and Tri-Lightning.

Relaxaurus is useful because many players can catch and build one earlier in the game. Its Partner Skill, Hungry Missile, can remove a solid chunk of Bellanoir's health when properly supported.

Jetragon is the fastest flying mount in Palworld, making it excellent for dodging Bellanoir's danger zones. Its Partner Skill, Aerial Missile, fires a missile barrage for heavy damage.

Use one Dragon Pal as your main attacker, then consider filling the remaining slots with Gobfins. Gobfin's Angry Shark passively increases player attack even when Gobfin is not active, and the bonus stacks across multiple Gobfins.
After hatching from the Huge Dark Egg, Bellanoir officially joins your roster. Introduced in the Palworld Update v0.2.0.6, it has this profile:
