Minecraft's 15th anniversary event brought daily cosmetics, including two Twitch-linked rewards: the Minecraft Twitch Cape and the Glitch Mask. Both used codes, but each had a different requirement.

Mojang celebrated Minecraft's 15th anniversary with new cosmetics released across 15 days. The rewards had different unlock methods, and several were connected to platform collaborations. Twitch covered the cape and Glitch Mask, while TikTok was confirmed for another reward.

All Minecraft 15th anniversary codes were set to expire toward the end of June 2024, so players needed to redeem them before they disappeared.

How to Get the Minecraft Twitch Cape and Glitch Mask

Twitch users could earn two exclusive codes from May 15 to May 31. The Minecraft Twitch Cape was tied to a watch quest, while the Glitch Mask came from a support-a-streamer event.

• Minecraft Twitch Cape: Watch 15 minutes of any participating Twitch Partner or Affiliate streaming in the Minecraft category.
• Glitch Mask: Visit any participating Twitch Partner or Affiliate streaming in the Minecraft category and buy one subscription of any tier. Prime Subs did not count for this reward.

After earning a code, redeem it through the Minecraft redemption page here. Make sure the account is logged in, the correct section is selected, and the code is entered before submitting.

Java Edition Minecraft Twitch Cape availability is confirmed. Codes expire June 30, 2024.

How to Change Capes on Java Edition

To check owned capes or switch the active cape on Java Edition, open the official Minecraft website and sign in.

1. Select Account in the top-right corner, then choose Login.
2. Click My Games on the left side of your Minecraft profile.
3. Under Minecraft: Java Edition, select Change Skin.
4. Scroll to Change Your Cape - PC/Mac.
5. Click the cape you want to use.

The cape should update on the account shortly after selection.

How to Change Capes on Bedrock Edition

Bedrock Edition cape changes happen inside the game client.

1. Log in to the Minecraft Bedrock Edition client.
2. Select Dressing Room.
3. Click the red cape icon on the left side of the screen.
4. Choose the cape you want, then select Equipped.

The cape should appear on the avatar immediately after it is equipped.
