Minecraft Skull Cloak Discord Quest Completion Guide

Minecraft sometimes gives players exclusive cosmetics through limited promotions, and the Skull Cloak was one of those rewards. The item came from Discord’s “Minecraft Holiday Quest,” which had to be accepted and completed before its deadline.

Accepting the Minecraft Holiday Quest

On PC, the quest was accepted through Discord’s Discover menu.

1. Open the Discord app.
2. Click the compass icon, also called Discover, at the bottom of the server list.
3. Choose the “Quest” tab.
4. Find “Minecraft Holiday Quest” and click “Accept.”

On mobile, the option was located in account settings.

1. Open the Discord app.
2. Tap the “You” tab in the bottom-right corner.
3. Tap the gear icon to open Settings.
4. Select “Quests” under billing.
5. Find “Minecraft Holiday Quest” and tap “Accept.”

The Skull Cloak quest was available on platforms where Minecraft could be played, but not every country or region had access because of local regulations. If the quest did not appear, regional availability was the likely reason.

Completing the Skull Cloak Quest

To finish the Skull Cloak Minecraft Discord quest, players needed to play Minecraft for 15 minutes while Discord was open. Supported platforms included PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and Xbox Series S.

Console players also needed their Discord account connected to the correct platform account before progress could count.

The quest could no longer be accepted or completed after December 20th, 2024.

Redeeming the Skull Cloak Code

After completing the quest, Discord showed a Skull Cloak code in the “Quests” tab and also sent it to the email address linked to the Discord account. That code was redeemed through Mojang’s official redemption page here.

All Skull Cloak codes expired on January 20th, 2025. The reward was exclusive to Bedrock Edition, so Java Edition players could not use it there.
