MCC Rising 2 Withdrawals: New Aqua Axolotls, Substitute Teams, and Games

Minecraft·August 24, 2023·8 min read

MCC Rising 2 was only two days away when one announced team stepped back from the event. The updated lineup adds a new Aqua Axolotls roster, plus two substitute teams waiting in reserve if more changes are needed.

MCC Rising 2 Date and Details

MCC Rising 2 gives creators who are new to MCC a chance to compete across a nine-minigame championship format. The event is the 41st MCC overall and the 8th non-canon MCC, with the possibility of four new champions earning attention for future appearances.

The event streams live on August 26, 2023, at 3PM EST on the official Noxcrew Twitch channel.

Withdrawals and Replacement Teams

Each MCC Rising 2 team is made up of four players who had not competed in MCC before. After the originally announced Aqua Axolotls withdrew, the following replacement and backup rosters were shared. Each image links to the related application video.

The rest of the announced MCC Rising 2 roster remains available in the earlier full-team listing.

MCC Rising 2 Game Selection

Regular MCC events usually keep a few games out of rotation, but MCC Rising 2 makes the full pool available. That should create a much more chaotic voting process. Bingo But Fast fans may quietly become insufferable for a few minutes, and frankly, that is their right.

Final Notes

Because all competitors are new to MCC, major remixes are not expected. Still, Noxcrew has a habit of adding small surprises, and a Rising event is a good place to test how quickly new players can adapt.
