After Minecraft Championship 23, MCC Island was finally announced after two years of development. The public Java Edition server brings MCC-style minigames to regular players, and its closed beta gives a limited group the first chance to visit.
MCC Island comes from the creators of MCC and turns the event's minigame style into a public Minecraft Java Edition server. Players can party with one to four friends, visit shops around the island, customize their character, and join a faction connected to a favorite creator.
The island itself is not just a menu with scenery around it. Secrets, teased events, and faction areas give players reasons to explore between games.
The closed beta for MCC Island was announced for August. The original announcement did not include a confirmed start date within that month, so players interested in joining were encouraged not to wait until later in August to sign up or watch for ticket details.
The closed beta includes admission tickets and fast pass tickets. Players who want a free route need to sign up through the MCC Island beta page.
Admission tickets are distributed through a lottery system. Winning one allows the player to join the server queue and wait for access. It is the no-cost option, but it does not guarantee entry for everyone who signs up.
Players who do not want to rely on the lottery can aim for a fast pass ticket instead. These limited tickets guarantee closed beta access and include priority queue access for joining the server.
At the time covered by the source, the fast pass tickets and MCC Island shop were not yet available. Anyone choosing this route was advised to watch the MCC Island website, since limited tickets were expected to sell quickly once released.

No specific creator list was confirmed in the source, but it was reasonable to expect many creators already involved with MCC to at least try MCC Island. Fans who join can support a creator by joining their faction and may even end up playing nearby.
The safest answer for any specific creator is to check their own streams or announcements. The beta was shaping up to be busy either way, lottery hat and all.
