New MCC Island details gave players a clearer picture of how the closed beta would work. The update covered invite selection, launch minigames, reward types, and the factions players could join once they arrived.
Noxcrew confirmed that free MCC Island beta admission would be random. Once the beta began, players who had signed up would be selected in small waves, with those waves growing larger as the closed beta continued.
Selected players would receive an email confirming admission and asking for their Minecraft Java Edition username. After that step, they would be directed to the MCC Island webstore to redeem the free admission ticket.
More information about Fast Pass access was still planned for later.
The closed beta was set to launch with four familiar MCC games:
Noxcrew also noted that these versions would include new surprises, meaning they would not be exact copies of the main MCC versions.
Rewards would work differently too. Instead of MCC's usual coins, players would earn game tokens, coin bags, and customisation kits based on personal scores. Those rewards were tied to cosmetics and faction contributions, giving every match a bit more purpose than simply getting launched into the void with style.
The minigames were also expected to include slight combat changes and custom items.
MCC Island's ten joinable factions were revealed as the familiar MCC team names. After arriving on the island, players would meet the faction master and choose one faction to represent.
That faction's area would become the player's home base. Daily faction quests, unique cosmetic vendors, and faction loyalty rewards would all be available there. Raising loyalty meant earning exclusive rewards, so picking a team was more than just choosing a color and calling it a personality.
The beta details made MCC Island feel much closer. Anyone still interested in joining had time to sign up before the closed beta began, then wait for the selection waves to roll out.
