MCC 29 was scheduled for March 18, 2023, at 3 PM EST on the official Noxcrew Twitch channel. The event followed the familiar MCC structure, with streamers and YouTubers competing across a nine-game lineup before the final team showdown.

This event was also the 34th MCC overall and the first event of Season 3. Rumors at the time pointed toward a Minecraft Championship rebrand, adding one more reason to watch beyond the usual coin totals and Dodgebolt drama.
