MCC 27 has a simple hook: nobody in the event has won a previous Minecraft Championship. This Underdogs edition gives returning players and newcomers a cleaner shot at the crown, with a half-canon format where only the win counts toward official statistics.

MCC 27 is the 32nd Minecraft Championship overall. It still uses the familiar nine mini-game competition, but the Underdogs theme means every participant is chasing a first MCC win. Since the event is half-canon, only the win itself is counted statistically.
