Minecraft Championship 23 arrived with game reworks, new maps, and the closed beta announcement for MCC Island. MCC 24 followed quickly, so expectations were already high. Minecraft Championship gathers popular Minecraft creators into teams of four for a series of nine mini-games. The event ends with the last team standing crowned as champions.

MCC 24 will air live on August 20th, 2022 at 3 PM EST through the official Noxcrew channel. Competitors often stream their own perspectives as well, which is useful if the main broadcast is not enough panic per screen.

MCC 23 brought map updates and game adjustments, while Build Mart had been skipped by voters three times in a row. That made a future Build Mart change feel likely.

MCC Island was another major topic. More beta details, including a start date or fast pass information, would have fit naturally around MCC 24. The other competitive thread was Dream's wins total. If MCC 24 became his fifth canon crown, he would move into a very small club.
