Installing RocketMod on an Unturned Server

Overview

Vanilla Unturned servers are fine until everyone has learned the usual routine and starts asking for more tools, more commands, or plugin support. RocketMod helps with that by adding extra administration commands and enabling compatible plugins for Unturned servers. It is already included with Unturned server files, so the setup mainly involves copying the correct folder into the right location. The folder does not walk there on its own, unfortunately.

Install RocketMod

1. Open your server control panel and stop the Unturned server.
2. Open your FTP client and sign in.
3. Find the `Extras` directory, then open it and locate the `Rocket.Unturned` folder.

1. Select `Rocket.Unturned` with the checkbox, then choose `Copy` from the top menu.

1. Set the target directory to `/Modules`, then submit the copy action.

1. When the copy finishes, return to the main server page and start the server again.

After startup, open the console and look for Rocket-related commands or loading messages. If they appear, RocketMod is active and ready for plugins or additional command use.

Troubleshooting

RocketMod is not loading: Check the server files and confirm that `Rocket.Unturned` exists inside the `Modules` folder. If it is missing, copy it again from `Extras` and make sure the target directory is exactly `/Modules`. If the folder is already there, restart the server once more so Unturned reloads the module properly.

The Modules folder is missing: In your FTP client, create a new folder named `Modules`. The name is case-sensitive, so use the capital `M`. After creating it, repeat the copy process for `Rocket.Unturned`.
