Vanilla Minecraft can keep you busy for a long time, but eventually the usual loop of mining, crafting, and arguing with creepers may start to feel familiar. InsaneCraft is a modpack built for players who want a much larger sandbox with a clearer long-term objective.
The pack includes more than 250 mods, adding new creatures, dimensions, structures, resources, weapons, and progression systems. Its main chase is collecting the infinity stones and building the Infinity Gauntlet, which gives the pack a goal beyond simply surviving another night.
InsaneCraft is a Minecraft 1.12 modpack created by SparkUniverse_ on CurseForge. It brings together many well-known mods, including Dimensional Doors and Twilight Forest, alongside many others that expand exploration, combat, crafting, and world generation.
The core objective is to gather the infinity stones and use the gauntlet to gain powerful abilities. Until then, expect a normal Minecraft start with a lot more strange things waiting just over the next hill.
Before changing modpacks, stop the server from the HolyHosting control panel. This helps prevent file conflicts while the server version is being changed.

Everyone joining the server needs the same modpack installed on their computer. The easiest route is through the CurseForge Launcher.
Before continuing, install and configure the CurseForge Launcher for your operating system. Once it is ready, open it to the main Minecraft modpack area.

After Minecraft opens through CurseForge, use the Multiplayer menu to connect to your server address. If the client pack and server pack do not match, the game will usually show mod mismatch errors.
Once you spawn, the world may look familiar at first, but that does not last long. InsaneCraft adds new mobs, blocks, dimensions, and structures throughout the overworld and beyond.

You may spot peaceful animals such as deer and chameleons while exploring. There are also new hostile mobs, so do not treat every unknown creature like a petting zoo candidate.

Strange portals can appear around the world through Dimensional Doors. These may lead into small dungeon-like areas with useful rewards, but they can also leave you lost if you wander in unprepared.

New blocks appear in natural generation and structures too. For example, Astral Sorcery adds marble blocks that can show up as part of world features and buildings.

Exploration is one of the pack's biggest strengths. Some buildings are harmless, some are useful, and some exist mainly to remind players that curiosity has a repair cost.

InsaneCraft does not block the usual early Minecraft progression. You can still punch trees, craft tools, mine stone, build a shelter, and prepare for the first night in the normal way.
Once you begin mining underground, the differences become more obvious. The pack adds many resources for different mods, so it is worth keeping unfamiliar ores instead of throwing them away.

New ores can appear across different depths and dimensions. Some are used for technology systems, such as copper for wiring, while others connect to magic or progression systems, such as runium for runes.
Caves may also contain decorative and functional blocks that change the look of underground areas. Crystals and other modded blocks make exploration more varied, while also giving you more reasons to bring extra pickaxes.

The major goal in InsaneCraft is collecting all of the infinity stones and crafting the Infinity Gauntlet. Once completed, the gauntlet unlocks a range of powers, including manipulating time, lifting enemies, changing blocks, and using other high-impact abilities.
This goal gives the pack a stronger direction than many kitchen-sink modpacks. You can still build bases, explore dimensions, and experiment with individual mods at your own pace, but the gauntlet acts as the long-term prize.
InsaneCraft adds a huge amount of content while still letting players begin with familiar Minecraft basics. Install the pack on the server, install the same pack through CurseForge, then start exploring new mobs, ores, structures, dimensions, and the path toward the Infinity Gauntlet.
Whether you play alone or with a group, the pack offers plenty to chase without forcing every mod on you immediately. Start simple, gather resources, explore carefully, and keep an eye on anyone who suddenly gets too interested in collecting stones.
