Tired of fighting hills, caves, and forests every time you want to build something on Hytale? A flat world strips out the natural terrain so you can focus on whatever you have planned: massive builds, minigames, plugin testing, or just a clean canvas for the whole community. This guide walks through the setup on a Hytale server using a single command.
You will need operator (admin) permissions on the server before any of this works. If you do not have them yet, sort that first.

A confirmation message will pop up if everything went through.

Once the world exists, teleport over with `/tp world [name]` and you are in.
The same command also works from the server panel console, which is handy when you are managing things remotely or want to avoid joining the game just to flip a setting.
Flat terrain is the developer playground of Hytale. Arenas, parkour courses, PvP grids, imported builds: none of them want a mountain in the middle. Custom maps drop in cleanly when you do not have to flatten the ground yourself.

It is also the safest place to break things. Test new plugins, asset packs, mod combinations, or gameplay tweaks on a separate flat world and the main one your players use stays untouched.
A flat world is just the starting point. Hytale supports multiple worlds in parallel, custom generation settings, mods, and asset packs that reshape how players experience your space. Combining a flat surface with the right pack lineup can give your community a setup nothing else can match.
