Goat Horns

Goat horns are the biggest new item in Snapshot 22w17a. They come in eight variants, with four variants tied specifically to screaming goats. Players do not get them by killing goats. Instead, a goat can drop a horn after it rams into a solid block.

Once collected, a goat horn can be used to play a loud sound that carries over a long distance. Each horn variant has its own sound, so collecting them is part utility and part very noisy hobby.

Allay Note Block Updates

Allays also received a few adjustments. Their connection to note blocks now has a clearer visual indicator, making it easier to tell what an allay is linked to. Wool can once again block those connections as well.

Warden Balance Changes

The Warden continued to change in Snapshot 22w17a. Its ranged attack now bypasses shields and armor, deals ten points of damage, and has a shorter cooldown of two seconds instead of five.
