Below you will find a detailed step by step guide on how to install GeyserMC on a Minecraft server:
1. Access the control panel of your Minecraft server and make sure the server is stopped.
2. Download the installation file for GeyserMC from the official GeyserMC website. Make sure to download the correct version for the Minecraft server you are using. You can find the installation file in the downloads section of the website.
3. Go to the "Files" section of your server control panel.
Look for the "plugins" folder in the root of your server. Remember to be using a Minecraft version that allows the use of plugins, such as PaperSpigot.
4. Upload the installation file for GeyserMC that you downloaded in step 2 to the "plugins" folder using the file upload function of the control panel.
5. Restart the server so that the plugin loads correctly.
6. Go to the "Ports" tab in the left menu. Once inside, click the "Add extra port" button, enter a port of your choice and copy it.
7. Restart the Minecraft server so that the server detects the new port. Once it starts, stop it, go back to "Ports" and select the other port as primary. If you don't do this, the server may not detect both ports.
8. Go to the Geyser configuration and locate the "bedrock" section, and then "port". By default, it will be configured with port 19132. Change it to the one you entered earlier in the "Ports" tab. You can now save and close the configuration.
9. Once the server has restarted, access the control panel of your server and click on the "Console" option to open the server console.
10. In the server console, type the following command to confirm that GeyserMC has been installed correctly: /geyser
11. If GeyserMC has been installed correctly, you will see a message in the console indicating that the plugin has loaded correctly.
Now you can connect to your Minecraft server using any Minecraft client that supports the Bedrock protocol. To do so, open Minecraft and select "Connect to a server". Enter the IP address and port of your server and click on "Join server".
If after following these steps you are still unable to install the plugin, feel free to contact our staff team. We will help you configure it correctly.
