Cherry groves arrived in Minecraft 1.20 and quickly became a favorite biome. Pink leaves, soft colors, and mountain views make a strong case. The catch is rarity, so finding one in Minecraft 1.21 may take some travel.

Cherry blossom biomes, officially called cherry groves, are easy to recognize once visible. Look for lime-colored grass, pink petals, and cherry trees with red trunks and bright pink leaves.
Rabbits appear more often in these biomes, and bee nests are also more common. Pink petals on the ground can be collected too, making the biome useful beyond scenery.

Cherry groves are high-altitude biomes, similar to the meadow. They often generate around the first layers of mountain ranges rather than the highest peaks.
Their shape varies by seed. Some appear as thin stretches, while others form small clusters. Minecraft world generation rarely signs a contract.

Search around temperate mountain areas. Plains, forests, and high-altitude meadows are good places to check.
Vanilla Minecraft does not include a map or item that points directly to cherry groves. Climb mountains, scan surrounding slopes, and watch from a distance for pink treetops cutting through the usual green and gray terrain.

For the direct route, use the `/locate` command. It gives the coordinates of the nearest matching biome, and those coordinates can be clicked to teleport if permissions allow it.
The command is:
On servers, this command requires OP permissions.

Once you find a cherry grove, mark the coordinates or build a route back. The wood, petals, bees, and scenery make it useful for building or gathering resources.
If the first search runs long, keep circling mountain regions. Cherry groves are rare, but the pink canopy is hard to miss once it appears.
