How to install the Prominence II modpack on your Minecraft server

Hello! In this guide, we’ll walk you through step by step on how to properly install the Prominence II modpack on your Minecraft server.

Download the modpack

We’ll download the “server-pack” file for the modpack by going to the following link: https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/modpacks/prominence-2-rpg

Why is it necessary to download the server-pack?

It’s important to download this file because it contains everything needed to install the modpack on your server. Log in to the server panel

Once you have the server-pack compressed file, go to the Files section of your server and upload the file (this may take some time depending on its size). After the upload is complete, click the three dots next to the file and select Unarchive.

Once the file is unarchived, locate the “start.sh” file, click the three dots, go to Permissions, and set the value to 777.

After setting the permissions for the file, go to Startup and select the “Use Custom FLAGS” option. This will make the server use the start.sh file to start and download all the necessary modpack files.

Start the server and accept the EULA by typing “I agree” in the console when prompted.
