Hello, in this guide we will explain step by step how to correctly install the Prominence II modpack on your Minecraft server.

Download the modpack We are going to download the "server-pack" file of the modpack by entering the following link: https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/modpacks/prominence-2-rpg

Why is it necessary to download the server-pack? It is important that we download this file, as it contains everything needed to install the modpack on our server. Enter the server panel Once we have the compressed serverpack file, we will go to the files section of our server and upload the compressed file (this may take some time depending on the file size). When the file finishes uploading, click on the three dots and then "Unarchive"

Once the file is extracted, we are going to look for "start.sh" then click on the three dots and "permissions" then, assign the value "777"

Once we have assigned the permissions to the mentioned file, we go to "Startup (Java)" and select the startup flags "use Custom FLAGS" this will make the server use the file start.sh to start the server and download the corresponding modpack files.

We start the server and accept the EULA by typing "I agree" in the console when prompted.

If the server does not start or crashes, check that you are using the correct Java version, in this case, Java 21.
