How to Install Sponge on Your Minecraft Server

🧽 What is Sponge?

Sponge is a modified Minecraft server that allows you to install plugins (like Bukkit/Spigot) but is based on Forge. This means it can run mods and plugins simultaneously—something other servers like Spigot or Paper don’t allow.

How Do I Install This Version?

Installing this version is very easy thanks to our panel. First, go to the “Versions” section, where you’ll see the available software options. From there, select Sponge.

Once inside, you’ll see the available versions. After choosing one, click on it.

Once inside, you can choose the build you want (though we recommend leaving the default one set by the panel). You can also select whether to delete existing server files and accept the EULA.

Once you’ve selected your desired options, click Install.

Now, simply go to your server console, start the server, wait a few seconds, and accept the EULA if you haven’t done so already.
