How to install Paper on your Minecraft server? 🛠️✨
Paper is one of the most popular and optimized versions, designed to improve performance and add compatibility with a wide range of plugins. If you're looking for a smoother and more customizable gaming experience on your server, Paper is an excellent option. In this guide, we explain step by step how to easily install it from the HolyHosting control panel.
(This tutorial is made assuming you have a Vanilla server and want to upgrade it to Paper)

Log into your server panel 💻 As a first step to install Paper, go to your server panel. Then, navigate to the "Versions" section and select the Paper:

Once inside this section, we can see the different Paper versions available.

Click on the version you want. A dialog will open where you can: - Select the build of the version you are installing. - Delete all existing files. - Accept the EULA. Once you check the options you want, click on "install"

This will download the server.jar file you selected.

Start the server 🟢
Now, to complete the installation, start your server and go to the console. (Remember to accept the EULA if you haven't accepted it when installing the version)

Done! Now we can add plugins to our server thanks to PaperSpigot.
In our panel, there is a section to download plugins that install automatically. Simply go to "Management ----> plugins" and choose the one you like!
