How to Install OptiFine in Minecraft

How do I download it? To download it, go to the following link: https://optifine.net/downloads Then, look for the version that corresponds to the one we want for our Minecraft.

This will download a .jar file which we need to install. How do I install it? To install it, double-click on the .jar file. A window will open asking for the installation path. By default, it will be .Minecraft, which is where we need to install it.
