Hello HolyHosting! 🌟

Today we are going to talk about something we all love in Minecraft: doors! 🔑 Whether to protect your base from the dreaded Creepers or simply to give an epic touch to your build, doors are essential. But what if I told you that you can create bigger and better animated doors without breaking your head with redstone? Here is where Big Doors comes in, an incredible plugin that will allow you to design huge and spectacular doors on your Minecraft server. 🚪✨

  • Visit the Spigot page of Big Doors.
  • Press the blue "Download now" button in the upper right corner.
  • Save the file in a safe place; you will need it shortly.

Relax! If you downloaded the file and cannot find it, check the downloads folder or search directly on your computer for a file with the .jar. extension. If you still have problems, try downloading it again.

  • Navigate to the HolyHosting panel page and stop the server.
  • Verify that your server is running a compatible version like PaperMC or Spigot.
  • Access "Files" and upload the .jar file to the plugins folder.
  • Restart the server.

If after restarting the server, Big Doors does not appear in the plugins list, make sure you uploaded the .jar file to the correct folder. Also verify that your server is using a version of Minecraft compatible with plugins.

When you enter your server, you may be asked to download a resource pack. Do not hesitate, go for it! This will make the doors look and function spectacularly.

  • Use the command /bdm to open the Big Doors menu.

  • Start with New Door.
  • Assign a name to your door with /namedoor [Name].
  • Select the outer corners with the tool the plugin will give you.
  • Open and close your door with /opendoor [Name] and /closedoor [Name].

If you are getting stuck selecting the hinge, make sure you are selecting the outer corners in the correct order. Remember that the hinge determines in which direction the door will open.

  • Normal Door: Ideal for castles 🏰.
  • Sliding Door: Perfect for futuristic bases 🛸.
  • Drawbridge: For castle moats or channels 🌉.
  • Iron Portcullis: Give it a medieval touch or create ingenious traps ⚔️.

Explore the /bdm menu to adjust and customize your doors. Want to set a timer for automatic closing or add another owner? Everything is possible!

  • /pausedoors: Pauses all doors.
  • /stopdoors: Stops doors in motion.
  • /unlockdoor [Name]: Unlocks a specific door.

If the commands are not recognized, verify that Big Doors is correctly installed using /plugins. If it does not appear, review the installation steps and make sure you are using a compatible version.
