Anubis is one of Palworld's standout Ground-type Pals, useful as both a base worker and combat partner. It brings excellent Handiwork, strong Mining, reliable Transporting, and a Partner Skill that turns the player into a Ground-damage problem.

Anubis does not appear as a normal wild Pal. To capture one directly, look for the Level 47 Alpha Anubis at coordinates -130, -96.

The easiest route is to fast travel to Sealed Realm of the Winged Tyrant, then head northeast into the nearby desert. A flying mount makes the trip cleaner, though walking works if the local wildlife cooperates.

Anubis can also hatch from a Huge Rocky Egg. That egg type can produce other Pals too, including Warsect, Knocklem, and Gildane from the Feybreak Update, so random egg hunting is not guaranteed.
For better odds, use the Breeding Center with one of these Pal pairs:

Anubis is fast, aggressive, and explosive enough that sloppy dodging gets punished quickly. Bring your strongest Grass-type Pal, since Grass has the advantage against Ground. Elizabee, Mossanda, and Robinquill are solid choices if properly leveled.
Equip your best available gear before starting the fight. The source loadout examples include the Assault Rifle, Sword, and Hyper Shield. If capture is the goal, avoid finishing Anubis off by accident. The Ring of Mercy, unlocked at Level 19 in the Technology Tree, prevents enemies from dying and gives you more chances to throw Spheres.
Craft the Ring of Mercy with 30x Ingot, 20x Paldium Fragment, and 5x Ancient Civilization Parts at a High Quality Workbench, Production Assembly Line, or Production Assembly Line II.
