How to Fix the “Failed to Verify Username” Error

Log Out

Although this may seem basic, it’s actually one of the possible fixes. Simply log out of your account, log back in, and then try joining your server again.

Disable Online Mode

This solution involves opening the server.properties file and changing the line "online-mode=true" to "online-mode=false".
