Death messages can be easily disabled with the gamerule command. Below, we explain the steps to achieve it

First, you need to access your Minecraft server console from your control panel.

Once inside the console, enter the following command to disable death messages:
gamerule showDeathMessages false

With this, player death messages will not appear in the chat.
If you later decide that you want to show death messages in the chat again, you just need to run:
gamerule showDeathMessages true
And that's it! 😎 Now you can control when death messages are visible to players.
