How to Convert a Minecraft Bedrock World to Java⛏️

Hey HolyHosting community! 🌟 Today we’re bringing you a super useful guide for anyone who wants to transfer their Minecraft Bedrock Edition world to Java Edition. Whether you want to play solo or on a server, converting worlds has never been easier thanks to Chunker. Let’s get started! 🚀 Exporting a Singleplayer World 🚶
Open Minecraft Bedrock Edition on your device.

From the world selection screen, click the Edit button on the world you want to export.

A new page with your world’s settings ⚙️ will open.
Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click Export World.

Save the .mcworld file in an easily accessible location for later use.
Exporting a Bedrock Server World
Go to your HolyHosting Server Panel and stop the server.
Then, navigate to Files.

Select the world folder, then click the three dots icon and choose Archive.

A file like the one shown in the image will be generated.Click the three dots next to it and select Download.

Now, open the compressed file you downloaded and drag the worlds folder to your desktop.
Done! 🎉 Your server world is now downloaded and ready to be converted from Bedrock to Java!
🔄 Conversion with Chunker 🔄
Visit the Chunker website.

Click the Upload File button and select your .mcworld file (or the worlds folder if you downloaded the world from the server panel).
Then, use the Start Upload option to continue.

Select the Java Edition version you want to use.

Click Convert and Download to get a .zip file of your converted world.

Done! 🎉 Your world is now converted and ready to be imported. Next, we’ll show you how to import it for Singleplayer or for your Server.
🚀 Importing into Java Edition for Singleplayer
Open the Minecraft Java Edition launcher.

Next, navigate to the .minecraft folder by pressing Windows + R and entering the following:
%appdata%, then .minecraft
In the new window, open the saves folder.
Create a new folder for your world.
Extract the contents of the converted .zip file into the folder you just created.
Finally, launch Singleplayer, and you’ll see your Bedrock world successfully converted to Java!

Now you can enjoy your Bedrock world in Java Edition without any issues!

🚀 Importing into a Java Edition Server
Log in to your server panel.
Note: If you already have a world on the server, you’ll need to delete it to upload the new one (make sure to download it first if you don’t want to lose it).
Go to the world folder.(Remember to back up your current world, as you’ll be deleting everything in this folder.)
Drag the converted world zip into the world folder.Click the three dots and select Unarchive.
The next step is to start the server, and you’re all set!

Your server will now start with your Bedrock world converted to Java! 🎉
🤔 Common Issues and Solutions
🔄 The server is loading a new world on restart:
Make sure you properly deleted all files in the world folder before moving the converted world files.
Ensure that all files were correctly extracted from the .zip.
Restart the server for the changes to take effect.
