Hello! In this guide, we’ll show you a simple way to configure your Minecraft server’s database directly from the HolyHosting panel. Let’s get started!
Start in Your Server Panel
The first thing you need to do is log into your server’s control panel. Then, go to the Database section, click on it, and create a new database.

Next, give your database a name (it cannot contain spaces).

Once the database is created, you can view its details by clicking on “Database Details”. Here, you’ll find information such as:
Endpoint
Username
Password

To access the database, click on “phpMyAdmin”. You’ll be prompted for a username and password, which you can find in the Database Details.

You’ll also be asked to select your server’s node under “Server Choice”. If you don’t know which node your server is on, check the panel — it’s listed right below your server’s name.
Once you log in, you’ll see the following:

Configuring Luck
PermsThe next step is to go to the plugins folder, then open the luckperms folder, and click on the config.yml file.Once inside, navigate to the “Storage Settings” section.

Here, you’ll find all the storage settings needed for your database.
This is where you’ll configure your database (DB).

Remember the window where you accessed the database?Go there and copy the following information:
Database Name: Paste it on the “database” line.
Endpoint: Paste it on the “address” line.
Username: Paste it on the “username” line.
Password: Paste it on the “password” line.
It should look something like this:

Great! Once you’ve completed the steps above, restart your server and then type “pl” in the console. If the LuckPerms plugin appears in green, it means everything was configured correctly.
