How to change the seed of my Hytale server

Hello! In this guide, we’ll explain how to change the seed of your Hytale world, allowing you to generate a brand-new world.

Access your server panel

First, log in to your server’s control panel. Then, navigate to the “Files” section.

Now, access the “Universe” folder and follow this path:Universe → worlds → default → config.json

Once inside the configuration file, edit the value of the “Seed” line and replace it with your desired seed.

After making the change:

Now, save the file and exit the configuration file. Inside the “default” folder, you must delete the following items:

• chunks

• resources

Great! Once this is done, start the server. (It is recommended to make these changes while the server is turned off.)

Done! Now you know how to generate a world with a new seed.
