Music discs are often among Minecraft's stranger collectibles, and Tears keeps that tradition alive. This disc is earned from a ghast, but only if the ghast is defeated in a specific way.

Tears by Amos Roddy is a Minecraft music disc built around remixed ghast sounds, giving it an eerie but catchy Nether mood. The item is pale white with a light bluish center, matching the ghasts tied to its drop method.
Unlike some loot-based discs, Tears does not drop from any ghast kill. The method matters.

To get the Tears music disc, defeat a ghast by reflecting its own fireball back into it. The reflected fireball must be the hit that kills the ghast.
You can reflect a fireball with a timed projectile, but a melee weapon is usually easier. Wait for the ghast to shoot, face the fireball, then strike it back toward the mob. Only one successful reflected fireball is needed because the returned shot deals far more damage than a ghast has health.
After the ghast dies this way, the Tears music disc drops below where it was floating. Try to fight in a safer area first. If the disc falls into lava or fire, it can be destroyed before you ever get to enjoy your very dramatic prize.
Once you have the disc, craft a Jukebox with eight wooden planks and one diamond to play it.
With Tears added, the Nether has two music discs. The other is Pigstep by Leena Raine, which is rarely found in Bastion Remnant chests. Pigstep became a fan favorite after release and was even featured in A Minecraft Movie.
Tears takes a more hands-on approach. Instead of opening chest after chest, you have to win a fireball return match against a floating Nether menace. At least the rules are simple.
