How to Freeze Time on a Hytale Server

Freezing the time on a Hytale server is useful when a world needs a fixed mood or layout. Spawn areas, hubs, showcases, and event maps often look better when sunrise, noon, or night stays exactly where you put it. The process is quick, provided your account has admin permissions.

Pause Time in Hytale

1. Launch Hytale and connect to your server with an admin account.

1. Open chat and run this command:

`/time pause`

1. Time is now paused in the world. To resume normal time, run the same command again.

If you want time to stay paused through world settings, use:

`/world settings timepaused set true`

That setting is the better option when the world should stay locked permanently, not just until someone toggles it back. Useful for a dramatic hub world, or for players who believe midnight is a personality.
