Vibrant Visuals can make Minecraft Bedrock look brighter, moodier, and more dramatic. It can also make some players miss the old look or wonder why performance suddenly feels heavier. If that is you, the setting is optional and can be turned off from the video menu.

Vibrant Visuals is a graphics mode added above Fancy in Minecraft 1.21.6 Chase the Skies. It changes selected textures, improves the look of water, and adds dynamic lighting with accurate pixel-level shadows.
For many Bedrock Edition players, Vibrant Visuals was enabled automatically after updating. That does not mean it has to stay on. Minecraft Bedrock now offers three graphics modes, so players can choose between visual quality and performance instead of letting the game decide for them.

The graphics settings in Bedrock Edition now include Simple, Fancy, and Vibrant Visuals. Simple is the best choice when performance matters most. Fancy adds extra visual details, including transparency on blocks such as leaves. Vibrant Visuals is the most demanding option and may not suit every PC.
Additional visual settings appear below the graphics mode dropdown, so you can fine-tune the look after switching modes.

Yes. Bedrock Edition players can re-enable Vibrant Visuals from the same Video settings menu whenever they want.
If performance was the reason for turning it off, try enabling it again with the Favor Performance sub-option selected. If that still feels rough, adjust the V.V. Options instead. Those settings can help reduce the load while keeping some of the upgraded lighting and atmosphere.
