The Radio Receiver is one of the more important items in HumanitZ, but it is not something players can count on finding in every container. It is tied to Radio Tower repairs, which makes tracking one down a priority once you are ready to unlock airdrops.

The Radio Receiver can appear in random locations around the map. Commercial buildings are possible spawn points, though the item has a low spawn rate compared with more common loot.
A more reliable place to check is the music store in the city east of the Radio Tower. Look for a shop named Skoobz Soundz. Once inside, search the shelves. The store can spawn one or two Radio Receivers.

If you travel off-road toward the city, be careful near the forest route. A zombie bear may spawn there, and that is not a casual sightseeing encounter.
The city itself is also packed with zeeks. Alongside regular undead, expect special variants, including enemies that cause contact damage even after death and hazmat-suited zeeks that may explode when defeated. Keep distance after killing explosive enemies and avoid standing near their bodies.

At the time covered by the source guide, the Radio Receiver has one main use: repairing the Radio Tower. It is one of four required repair materials:

After the Radio Tower is repaired, airdrops become active. These supply drops happen regularly, and their frequency can be adjusted between a 1-day and 9-day interval by Single-Player users or administrators on online HumanitZ multiplayer servers.
When an airdrop is incoming, listen for helicopter audio. Then open the map and look for a red marker. That marker points to a supply box containing random loot.
