The first ever Streamer Awards rolled out on QTCinderella's Twitch channel, pulling together creators that audiences had followed for years. Winners came down to fan votes, the show kept the loose energy streamers tend to bring to anything they touch, and the production held up surprisingly well for a debut ceremony. The full broadcast lives on YouTube if you want to catch the speeches and the chaos in real time.
Below is the complete breakdown by category. Winners are listed in bold, with the rest of the nominees beneath.
The top creators across Fortnite, Apex Legends, PUBG and related shooters.
Most engaging voices in World of Warcraft, Final Fantasy, New World, Runescape and the rest of the genre.
First-person shooter coverage spanning Overwatch, Counter-Strike, Call of Duty, Halo and beyond.
The most enjoyable broadcasts built around Minecraft.
Covering Melee, Ultimate, Brawl and the rest of the Smash lineup.
Dota, TFT, Starcraft, Hearthstone, Super Auto Pets and similar titles.
Creators built around running games as fast as humanly possible.
Role-play content across Rust, VRChat, New World, Ark, and Dungeons & Dragons.
Recognizes streamers who broadcast through a virtual avatar instead of a traditional face cam.
Vlogging, travel, cooking, and out-of-the-house content.
Conversation, reaction streams, art segments, storytelling, and friend hangouts.
Broadcasters who refuse to stick to a single genre.
Charity streams, awareness campaigns, and other community-driven efforts.
The single game audiences could not stop watching during the year.
Collaborative broadcasts that produced the biggest moments of the year.
Esports and content houses behind the strongest year of output.
Up-and-comers with explosive growth and clear top-tier potential.
A streamer whose content is so original it defies category, with creativity that sets them apart from the rest of the industry.
Career achievement, given to a figure who helped shape the modern streaming scene.
The streamer whose pure mechanical skill made any game they touched worth tuning into.
The standout performer across the whole year, judged on growth, output, brand, and impact.
For a first ceremony of this scale, the night landed cleanly. There were the expected stumbles, a few audio hiccups, and the natural chaos of putting that many personalities in one room, but none of it broke the spell. The speeches felt genuine, the bits actually played, and the wins generally lined up with what audiences had been watching all year.
Highlights piled up fast. XQC quietly coloring through the entire event, the running gag of multiple Charlies collecting trophies, and several emotional acceptance speeches all stuck the landing. If this is the floor, next year's ceiling is worth blocking off the calendar for.
