The Front is dressing up for the holidays. Patch 1.0.19, dated December 20, 2023, blankets the map in snow, drops Santa into firefights, and reworks how the server browser behaves. Here is what changes once you log back in.

The seasonal event is live from 12 AM December 24, 2023 to 12 AM January 4, 2024 (UTC). After that window closes, the decorations come down and the map returns to its usual gritty self.
Snow falls more often across most regions during the event. Roadside snowmen now hand out throwable snowballs if you walk up and interact, and standard loot containers get a holiday reskin so they show up as Christmas gifts instead of regular boxes.
Santa Claus may also wander into your looting routes. Hit him with five snowballs to stun him, and he drops a gift bag stuffed with event-only rewards: a Christmas tree blueprint, holiday recipes, bells, socks, ribbons, stars, and similar trinkets. The Christmas Tree Blueprint goes into the construction bench, while the cake and pudding recipes sit on the kitchen counter.
Traders at the Rebel Camp stock festive inventory too, including snowballs, Christmas trees, cake recipes, and pudding recipes. Higher tier supply runs increase the odds of pulling themed gear such as holiday clothing and sleeping bags.
The lobby got a useful cleanup. Servers now display a NEW tag where appropriate, and the default sort order has been retuned. The bigger addition is the new Favorite and History tabs, so jumping back to a server you played last night no longer means scrolling through hundreds of entries.
For the granular line by line breakdown, the full patch notes are on Steam.
