StarRupture is out, factories are humming, and the local alien wildlife is doing its best to dismantle both. The game arrived in Steam Early Access on January 6, 2026, so it is officially playable, but Creepy Jar has been upfront that the experience is far from finished.

The studio recently published a detailed roadmap outlining what players should expect over the next several months. Bug fixes, stability passes, and optimization work dominate the short-term list, which is no surprise for an early access title. Beyond that, there is a sizable lineup of new mechanics, content drops, and accessibility improvements on the way.
Creepy Jar split its 2026 plans into three buckets: gameplay features, fresh content, and quality of life improvements. Specific release windows have not been announced, including the eventual 1.0 launch, but the team has stated that new material will keep arriving "during its Early Access stage and beyond."
Here is a clearer look at what is on the schedule.
The roadmap leaves room for surprises, but the broad picture is clear. More places to explore, more reasons to expand the factory, and more bugs trying to flatten your hard-earned conveyor belts.
