Arcadia-7 is a wide map, and walking everywhere on foot stops being charming the moment a scorching heat wave starts breathing down your neck. The good news: StarRupture lets you set up teleporters. The catch: the unlock sits at the end of one of the toughest dungeon runs in the game.
This guide breaks down the whole Forgotten Engine sequence, from the prep work you should do before leaving base to the final wave fight that hands you the Teleporter blueprint.

The Forgotten Engine is a giant turbine-shaped structure rising out of the center of the map. You can spot it from a long way off, which is helpful, because the trip there is one-way until you finish the run.
Gear checklist before you go:
The Power Cell recipe alone tells you this is endgame content. If you cannot comfortably farm those resources, hold off and keep building your base instead.
Tip: bring a friend. The fight is significantly easier with a second player covering your back, and StarRupture multiplayer holds up well on a dedicated server.
Once you are kitted out, set a course straight for the giant fan in the middle of the map.
When you reach the structure, the assistant voice will confirm there is still a way in. The entrance is on the northern side, near the broken section of the giant fan. You will see a hole in the ground there. Drop down and start the run.

After the drop, you will land in a hallway facing a sealed gate. Approach it, slot the Power Cell into the panel beside it, and the airlock opens. Walk forward to the elevator and ride it down to the Main Engine floor.
When the elevator stops, head to the keypad next to the Main Engine door and use it. Take the path on the left once it opens.
A quick warning before you go further: loot in the Forgotten Engine is generous, almost greedy. Do not stuff your inventory in the first room. You will want space later for keycards, cores, and other quest items.
Keep moving until you pass under a sign that reads Loading Area. At the next intersection, take the right corridor. The door at the end opens into a familiar spot near the Main Engine entrance, which gives you a quick loop back to the elevator if you ever need to retreat and resupply.
From here, turn around and continue straight until your path is blocked. Take the left route, which leads to the Control Center. Walk through it, and at the next fork choose left again. A staircase will take you up to the Logistics floor.

This is where your gear earns its keep. Vermin are everywhere on this floor, so move slowly and clear rooms before pushing forward. Pass the door marked Logistics and shoot anything that is not on your team.
You will eventually reach a set of restrooms. They are a safe enough spot to catch your breath, but the actual route continues through the door to their right. Follow the corridor until tumor growths block the path on your left. Destroy them and keep going.
The path leads to the generator room. Tear down all the tumors choking the machine to bring power back online. The moment the generator kicks in, more enemies spawn across the Forgotten Engine, so be ready for fresh fighting on the way back.
With the generator running, take the right path to a staircase that returns you to the Main Engine area. The Control Center, which was previously locked because of the power shortage, is now accessible. Loot it to find a keycard. Grab it and head back to the stairs, this time climbing higher to the Tech Stations floor.

The moment you arrive, look right. There is a tumor across a small gap. Shoot it before it becomes a problem.
Walk forward through the Storage Bay. Take the corridor opposite the Server Room until you hit a closed door. Open it, turn left, and keep moving. More tumors will block the way ahead. Clear them, enter the room, and pick up the core.
Now head all the way back to the Main Engine area and into the Control Center. Place the core in the central computer to power it on. Reload everything you have, because waves of enemies are about to drop on you.
Clear every wave that spawns. Once the last enemy goes down, the run is complete and the Teleporter blueprint is yours. From this point on you can place teleporters anywhere on Arcadia-7, which turns the map from a long walk into a short menu click.
The Forgotten Engine is a hard run, but it is also the only one that hands you back this much time. Worth every shot fired.
